About Bareboat Sailing

You are in charge. It is your boat for the charter period. It is a yacht that you sail yourself, though you can also hire a captain to help you sail it.

Most bareboats are from 30 to 50 feet in length and you can charter a conventional single hulled yacht (monohull), a catamaran or a powerboat. Sailing yachts are far more popular, and common, than powerboats.

Some bareboats have generators, air conditioning, microwave ovens and TVs but AFFINITY does not. What she does have is a full galley for conventional stove and oven cooking, two heads with showers, sleek lines, a powerful but eaisly controlled rig and a sail plan that will give you an exhilarating ride to your next port. She also has all the navigation aids and charts you will need. A dinghy and outboard are provided at no additional charge.
